Kaname was dumbfounded but still kept his face composed as he looked at the girl sipping hot chocolate on the other side of the fire. He was utterly confused on what had happened as he ran through the scenario a hundred times in his mind.


The chairman pulled back the blanket and kaname gave out a little gasp.
“How did this happen” kaname asked calmly.

“We don’t know, one of the vampire guards were patrolling the area and found her like this” the headmaster replied.

Kaname leaned in to get a better look at her. She wasn’t in her true form but that of the child’s body she inhabited before he killed her. His arm bumped her ever so slightly and a purple light burst out where the skin touched.

Everyone was blinded and moved their arms across their faces to hide from the bright light. The light died down and everyone sat stood confused and all looking at the body on the stretcher. They heard a small whimper and were shocked as the body stirred.
“Welcome back shizuka”



Kaname looked into the fire and tried to collect his thoughts on anything he knew about this.
“You know, you shouldn’t look off into space like that people will think you’re dumb” she said in her sly little voice.

“I’m not worried about trivial little things like that. What I am worried about is how you managed to come back to life”

Shizuka sighed “I don’t really know how it happened either; the last thing I remember was crawling through the snow and the worst thing about this is none of my powers have come back” she said waving her hand in front of her face as if that would get them to work again.

Kaname smiled obviously pleased about that fact. The only one that was allowed to hurt his zero was him and that would never happen.
“So what are you going to do now” he asked

“I was thinking about that because I know the vampire society won’t accept me since... Well obviously im not a vampire any more. So I decided I might as well go back to school but as a day class student this time” she replied looking into the fire also this time.

Kaname looked at her with a confused look on his face “by day class you don’t mean…”

“Yep” she interrupted him “I like that school and incase I ever do get my powers back I can just switch to night class again plus I rather like that yuuki girl” she said as she licked her lips and smiled.

“If you harm any of those students at that school I will have to kill you again” he said with no emotion of any kind.

“relax it’s not like I could hurt anyone even if I wanted too I lost my powers remember”
she drank the last of her hot chocolate and threw the paper cup into the fire. She stood up slowly and stretched her legs, her blanket almost falling off her shoulders. Kaname had just noticed that she was still naked under that white sheet but he found no excitement from her body.
“C’mon lets go, its cold a hell out here” she said walking toward the car.


Zero stood in front of the crowd of girls that had gathered for kaname’s much awaited return. Zero had no trouble controlling his side but yuuki was close to being trampled on as girls tried to push their way to the front line.

The black car drove up and the girls started to squirm and scream. The car stopped and the door opened slowly. A slim pale leg stepped out and a young girl emerged from the car. The screams of joy died down into mumbles and hushed whispers. Zero froze as he saw her and fear kept running through him. This can’t be happening… shizuka should be dead.


Zero blared into the chairman’s office and slammed his hands on the chairman’s desk, interrupting the chairman’s conversation with kaname.
“Do you want to explain to me exactly how this happened” zero asked him clearly referring to shizuka.

The chairman did not react to zero’s anger and kept looking over the registration papers in his hand.
“We don’t exactly know how it happened are self’s but it just did” the chairman replied with a shrug.

“The full power of a pure blood is yet to be known zero” kaname said quietly.

“Nobody asked you” zero said with a snarl then turned back toward the chairman “ and you’re just going to let her back in the school considering all the damage she did last time she was here”

“There is no need to worry about that, shizuka cannot harm anyone now she has lost her powers”

“What” zero asked confused?

“She is human just like me and all the other day class students in this school and she will be joining your class”

Zero knocked the chairmen’s things off his desk and stormed out of the room. The chairman sighed and started to collect his things off of the floor. Kaname took this chance to follow zero and play with his pet a little more.

“I think it best if I leave now; I have a lot of thing to take care of”

The chairman just nodded and kaname walked into the hall and followed the white head of hair.
